How You Can Help
The One Boy One Van Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life for special-needs children and their families in the Eastern Ontario region. Our organization acknowledges the tremendous financial burden families take on when buying a van to accommodate a child's special needs becomes a priority. The financial aid we provide is unique in Ontario as our funds are used solely for the vehicle purchase. With our assistance, families have bought modified vans that not only ensured their child's safety and comfort, but also provided that child with a means to fully participate in family life and community activities.

Secure online donations can be made through CanadaHelps.org. Charitable tax receipts will be issued for all gifts received.
Your gift will allow us to directly assist families with the purchase of wheelchair accessible vehicles. Gifts made by cash or cheque will be accepted by mail at:

In Memoriam Gifts
A gift made in memory of a family member, friend, or colleague is a thoughtful gesture that honours your connection with them. One Boy One Van Foundation will send a card acknowledging your gift to the person you designate. Tax receipts will be issued for all gifts received. Please complete the In Memoriam form and forward it to the address listed above.
Tribute Gifts
There are many special occasions we celebrate -- birthdays, weddings, promotions, or the birth of a child. A tribute gift is a meaningful way to offer your congratulations, best wishes, or thanks. One Boy One Van Foundation will send a celebration card acknowledging your gift, to the family member or person you indicate. Tax receipts will be issued for all gifts received. Gifts-in-kind refers to the donation of personal and real property, goods or services in lieu of cash. As a registered charity, One Boy One Van Foundation can issue tax receipts for the fair market value of these gifts. Please contact the Chair if you wish to donate a gift-in-kind.
By donating some (or all) of your HBC Rewards or Shoppers Optimum points to One Boy One Van Foundation, you are enabling us to use your points toward the purchase of merchandise and supplies needed for our fundraising events and our volunteer recognition program.
Volunteers are an integral part of our organization. Some contribute their time and expertise as Board members, while others ensure the smooth operation of our fundraising activities. For more information on current volunteer opportunities, please contact Ann Parizeau, our Volunteer Coordinator. High school students in need of community hours are always welcome!
Third party events are fun social events that you plan and host yourself to help raise money. Please contact us if you are interested in hosting an event to support the One Boy One Van Foundation. We will add your event to the Upcoming Events section of this website and provide you with our banner and/or brochures.
These shopping bags were introduced at our 2010 Really Big Book Sale. A natural colour with contrasting handles, binding and gusset, these bags have an open main compartment and one side pocket. Handles are reinforced for added durability. The blue One Boy One Van Foundation logo is printed on one side. Bag dimensions are 30x40x15 cm.
